Filament Dryer Box by SUNLU

SUNLU Filament Dryer Box

One of the great features of the Bambu Lab X1C is the ability to dry your filament. The only downside is that it takes 12 hours—time that could otherwise be spent printing. That’s why I started looking for a solution that doesn’t involve buying a second X1C.

Enter the Filadryer S4 from SUNLU.

Setup was fairly easy. It comes with everything you need if you want to feed filament directly from the dryer to your printer. I'm planning to use it as extra storage and will print from it instead of the external spool holder when needed.

Damage
Minor damage

Sadly there's minor cosmetic damage but it's not too bad. It doesn't appear to be a used unit so I'm not worried about it.

Maker space

I’m looking forward to seeing how the Filadryer S4 works in my setup, and I’ll be sharing my experiences as I put it to the test. If you have any questions about this dryer, just let me know in the comments.

Update 1: After drying PETG HF for 8 hours at 65ºC, here's the result.

It's not perfect but I may need to mess around with the temp and duration.
